Categories
W type VS D type
The palisade fencing can be classified into W type and D type due to the shape of their body plates. As you can see from the picture, the W type looks like the letter“W” and the other type like “D”. Besides the difference in shape, they are also different in cost and physical performance.
Firstly, it’s the cost. W section is more economical than D type due to the quantities of raw materials applied in the production. And actually, the W type is developed from the old D section. It’s better and economical than the old type. And in the market today, the W section is more popular. But in some areas, due to the reason of history, the D section still domains the market.
Secondly, it’s the physical performance. With different structures, the W section can resist more strike strength than the D type. Its special design can reinforce the fence on the whole and make it more sturdy.

Palisade Heads
Regarding the palisade heads, the triple one is the main standard type. With three-piece sharps pales on the top, it can deter and stop illegal climbing effectively. It makes it quite dangerous and difficult for climbing and can protect the properties well.

Bending Top VS Straight Top
The shape of the top of the palisade fencing also has two types: curved type and straight type. Compared with the top type, the bending one does a better job on security. It makes it harder for climbing over due to its shape. Have to mention, the bending direction can be adjusted to any degree you required. This can be decided by your environmental situation.
But at the same time, the cost of the bending type is higher due to the extra bending production step.
Posts
The palisade fence post is made from H-type steel. And the rails are made from heavy-duty angle irons. All of these materials have high tensile strength and can make the fence strong enough to resist illegal climbing.
Surface treatment
Its surface treatment is hot dipped galvanized and then PVC coated. This makes it great at anti-rust and durable. The zinc coating content is around 80gsm. And the PVC thickness is around 0.1-0.2mm.
Besides, the PVC powder coating can make the fence any color you required. This is especially good for architecture design. Because the fence can be adjusted to fit the whole design style.
Color
As mentioned before, the color can be customized per your requirements. And now in the market, the most popular is the green(RAL 6029) and black(Ral9005) according to our full experience. And in our stock steel fencing items, these two colors are also the major type.
