Description

There are mainly four types of crimped wire mesh among the market: plain woven type, pre-crimped woven type, flat top crimped type, lock crimped type.Plain woven type. For this type, the wires will keep their original shape until the procession in which they will be deformed into the crimped mesh by the machines. Plain woven type is usually applied when a small opening is required like window screens.Pre-crimped woven type. With this type, the wire will be crimped before the mesh production. This kind of wire is used to make the mesh with large openings, up to 8 inches. The pre-crimped wire can make the mesh more stable than the plain wire. The big opening mesh requires this type. It is always applied in the mining areas for filtering.Flat top crimped type. With this type, the mesh will be pressed into a plain flat shape from the top direction. And all the knuckles will be on the underside. This will make the mesh durable and heavy-duty. It is widely used for vibrating screens.

Lock crimped. The lock crimped type is an adjustment of the intermediate crimped. With this type, all the wires inside will be locked in their position. This structure will make the wire mesh more stable.
